Healing Wheels Tour 2011

The Ride

Not your everyday ride.

The Healing Wheels Tour is the superior early season training ride. Its proceeds benefit Inner City Health Center, a local non-profit organization. Riders will experience a scenic and challenging true century tour through and around Front Range landmarks and mountain towns including Dinosaur Ridge, Red Rocks Park, Bear Creek Canyon, Idledale, Kittredge, Kerr Gulch, Squaw Pass Road, Evergreen Lake, Brook Forest Inn and Evergreen. With significant elevation gain in 109 miles you will get a great training start on the later season high country rides like the Triple Bypass, the Courage Classic, the Copper Triangle and other high altitude rides. And don't forget our Family Ride in conjunction with Dinosaur Ridge and National Get Outdoors Day– perfect for recreational riders and a great family activity.

We hope to see all of those who made it last year back again for this year's Tour, as well as some new faces. Come Ride with us on Saturday June 11th, 2011.

The Healing Wheels Tour benefits Inner City Health Center, a non-profit clinic providing medical and dental services to the uninsured and under insured families of Metro Denver. Inner City Health Center would love your help in this important work by riding the Healing Wheels Tour. Since you already love to ride, it makes perfect sense to help a great cause at the same time.

Please forward the Tour information and website link to all your cycling friends. The success of this 3rd annual ride depends on getting the word out.

For any questions please contact Inner City Health Center.

All Rides Start at Bandimere Speedway

The 2011 ride will have four route options. Due to the challenging nature of the longer three rides – cyclists must be at least 14 years of age.

Be sure to check the event schedule for detailed information on time and locations for each of the rides or download the rider packet.
